1000 μl solvent: Use a 1000 μl pipette tip to pipet isopropanol, acetonitrile and dimethylformamide 20 times. Rinse the tip 3 times with distilled water. Then use the dyeing liquid as a reagent, and use the absorbance test to analyze the effect of this treatment on the performance of the low-absorption tips. The test is repeated on 6 tips for each solvent. Compare the results of chemically treated tips with untreated standard tips and low-absorption tips.

Chemical resistance of low retention tips
Various techniques are used to create the low-adsorption surface of pipette tips. The most stable method can produce completely hydrophobic and no leaching tips. There are significant differences in chemical resistance between the tested low retention tips. Some manufacturers’ tips will significantly reduce their low adsorption performance after treatment with selected solvents. After chemical testing, the performance of our low retention tips is at the same level as without any chemical treatment, which shows that these tips are inert and non-leaching. Autoclaving our low-absorption tips will not affect the performance of the tips.

Compare low retention tips from 3 suppliers with Sartorius standard and low-resistance tips. According to the absorbance test method, a Sartorius Picus electric pipette (1000 μl) and a 1000 μl pipette tip are used for the chemical resistance test. Repeat the test on 6 tips from each supplier.
in conclusion:
Various low retention tips on the market have significant differences in chemical resistance. Our low retention tips have the best chemical resistance, ensuring that the low retention tips performance is not affected by liquids and no leaching.
