Precautions for Inoculation Loop Infrared Sterilizer

Precautions for Inoculation Loop Infrared Sterilizer

1. Inoculation loops must be used when observing bacterial morphology from specimens or cultures. The inoculation ring system is made of a nickel resistance wire or special platinum wire with a length of about 5-8cm and moderate hardness, which is placed on a metal or glass rod. Those without a ring are called vaccination needles.
2. The metal rod or glass rod part of the inoculation loop in the cavity of the infrared sterilizer must also be rotated for sterilization.
3. The infrared sterilizer can also sterilize the microbial culture tube of glass material. At this time, special attention should be paid to no liquid or other objects in the tube, so as to avoid dangerous accidents such as splashing or explosion of the liquid inside.
4. After observation of unstained and stained specimens, they should be immediately put into disinfectant for sterilization.
5. After using microscope slides, be sure to completely eliminate the stained bacteria on the microscope slides before using them, otherwise a wrong diagnosis may be made when using them again.
