Use Steps

STEP1:

Peel apart the package

STEP2:

Remove the sterilized swab to collect samples

STEP3:

Insert the swab into transport medium and break the handle at breakpoint after sampling.

STEP4:

Tighten the cap to secure. Label vial and deliver samples to lab for testing.

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:

Liquid secretions are rapidly absorbed between the perpendicular fibers by capillary action.

Step 2:

Rotate the swab two to three times and hold the swab in place for 5 seconds to ensure maximum absor bency.

Strong capillary hydraulics between the strands of Nylon maximizes liquid sample collection.

SteACp 3:

Put the swab in the transport medium and break the shaft at the painted breakpoint.

Sample elutes automatically and rapidly because it is heldvery close to the surface ina tally open structure.

This does not hinder the flow dynamics, so the entire sample is released.

Tips: Disposable products, please be careful not to reuse.

With traditional fiber wound swabs a large percentage of the sample collected remains entrapped in the fiber matrix of the tip.

Flocked swab releases up to 95% of the sample collected compared to 25% in a standard fiber tipped swab-especially important if the sample size is particulary small.
